What’s In My Makeup Bag

Well, let me tell you... I love makeup. It’s not just about the glam—it’s about the vibe. I love how creative I can be with it. Mixing and matching bold lipsticks and colorful eyeshadows? That’s my kind of art.

When I’m not feeling my best, doing my makeup always lifts my mood. It’s my personal little therapy and my favorite way to express myself.

My Signature Style

I’ve always been drawn to warm, rich shades—browns, golds, fiery reds, and deep greens are forever my go-tos. But sometimes I like to turn up the fun with bright, bold eyeliner looks. Think pink, orange, or a juicy maroon.

Lately, I’ve been fully into that classic 90s lip combo—a smooth brown liner paired with a glossy clear or nude lip, or sometimes a velvety matte nude lipstick. It's giving throwback glam in the best way.

The Bag That Holds It All

First things first, major shoutout to my sweet friend who gifted me the ultimate travel makeup bag. It’s compact but fits everything. I bring it on every trip, and when I’m home, it proudly lives on my dresser holding all my everyday faves.

Keeping It Light

I don’t usually wear foundation or concealer unless it’s a special occasion. I like to keep it light and let my skin breathe. When I’m getting cute, I focus mostly on the eyes and lips—my two favorite features to play up.

Eyes That Pop

  • Lime Crime Astronomical Mascara (Black): Full, dramatic lashes with a single swipe. Perfect for that “I’ve arrived” moment.
  • e.l.f. Big Mood Mascara (Brown): A soft, flattering brown formula that makes my eyes pop in a subtle, stunning way.
  • Milani Maroon Eyeliner: Bold and rich—just different enough to feel special without being too much.
  • Wet n Wild Black Liner: A classic I always keep on hand. You can never go wrong with black.
  • Morphe Yellow Liner: Bright, fun, and playful. Adds a twist to any look.

Shadow Play


  • Sephora Nude & Purple Palette:     Warm, smoky, sultry vibes. Easy to blend, beautifully
    pigmented.
  • Makeup Revolution Palette: Earthy nudes and deep greens that make my caramel brown eyes pop.



Lippies

  • MAC Burning Love Lipstick: My all-time favorite. Deep, rich, and absolutely flattering.            

  • Vegan Nude Gloss:     A recent fave (wish I remembered the brand!), but it’s been living in my bag.
  • MAC Chestnut Lip Liner: A timeless staple for a defined, warm lip.
  • Lime Crime Bittersweet Lip Liner: Rich and bold—perfect for layering or wearing on its own

Why I Love Makeup

These products are fun, bold, and give me room to play—and that’s what I love most about makeup. It’s not about perfection, it’s about the feeling, the color, the moment.

Summer 2k24 In Cairo

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته أختي   مرحباً   Fall Reflections It’s October 30th, 2025. It’s been officially fall for a month now. I haven’t written any blog posts in a while… I miss you all, and frankly, there’s been a lot on my mind. This season is by far one of my favorites, but I don’t think I’ve been doing myself justice. I haven’t taken my usual walks in nature or jumped and stomped on the leaves like I usually do. Thankfully, we still have some time,  In shaa Allah. I’ve gone through some serious changes recently. I moved, and with relocating comes— you guessed it— unpacking, redecorating, reacclimating, and pretty much the whole nine yards. It has been such a metamorphic experience.
