Wash Day Surprise: Maui Moisture Shea Butter Hair Mask Review

So I was going through my stash of hair products a little while back and came across this gem. Let me tell y’all how this wash day went down!

This was such a sweet surprise because I honestly wasn’t expecting this product to come through the way it did. I’m talking about the Maui Moisture Shea Butter Hair Mask. Sis—it delivered on this thick, kinky mane of mine!

I picked it up from my local Ross. I had seen the brand before, so I figured it was worth a try. The price was right too—just $5.99. Not bad at all.

When I applied it to my hair, it instantly melted into my strands—girl, I was like yassss! I couldn’t believe I hadn’t tried it sooner. I was thinking, “Okay, I definitely need another jar of this.”

The formula is creamy, thick, and has great slip, which made detangling so much easier. Normally, detangling takes me about 1.5 to 2 hours—but with this mask, I was done in about an hour. That’s a big win!

The rinse-out was amazing too. My curls were drenched in moisture and shining like crazy. My hair felt soft, my curls were defined, and the hydration? On a hunnit. Safe to say—this wash day was a win.

Oh, and for my natural girlies: this product is silicone-free, vegan, and if you love Aloe Vera—you’re in luck. Aloe is actually the first ingredient.

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته أختي   مرحباً   Fall Reflections It’s October 30th, 2025. It’s been officially fall for a month now. I haven’t written any blog posts in a while… I miss you all, and frankly, there’s been a lot on my mind. This season is by far one of my favorites, but I don’t think I’ve been doing myself justice. I haven’t taken my usual walks in nature or jumped and stomped on the leaves like I usually do. Thankfully, we still have some time,  In shaa Allah. I’ve gone through some serious changes recently.
