Meditate , Mediate ... With PEACe🪴

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته أختي  مرحباً

 Hey sisters,

How’s it going this week? In my city, it’s super chilly, and I’ve been finding it so hard to get out of bed in the mornings, all cozy under the covers. Can anyone else relate?

This week has been busy for me. There have been some changes at work, and I’ve been juggling all of that. But honestly, one thing that’s been helping me manage the chaos is mindfulness and meditation.

Let me tell you, when I first started meditating, it was so hard! But now? I actually look forward to it. It’s become something I truly enjoy because of the challenges and growth it brings. The biggest reward? It’s made me more present and grateful. My moods are better, and I feel less anxious and irritable overall.

For example, this morning, I accidentally locked myself out of my apartment. No spare key, no backup plan—just me in the cold. Sis, you know something like this could ruin your whole day if you let it. But instead of spiraling, I chose to pause, take action, and remind myself of the qadr of Allah. This moment was preordained—written for me 50,000 years before anyone even existed. SubhanAllah, right?

And you know what happened next? I went to grab a quick bite at a convenience store, and a sister paid for my cappuccino and breakfast. Completely unexpected, but such a sweet surprise. Maybe it’s because I was practicing gratitude and mindfulness, or maybe it was just Allah’s way of reminding me of His blessings.

Sometimes we’re so caught up in our heads that we miss the beauty around us. I keep this quote on my wall as a reminder:
“Just for today, try and live in the world outside of your head. It’s beautiful out here.”
It’s simple, but it’s helped me through some tough times.

So this is your reminder, sis: live in the moment, find gratitude, and just breathe. Whatever you’re going through, Allah will surely aid you and make it right for you.

Now, if you’re looking to get started with meditation, I’ve got a recommendation for you. There’s an app called Balance, and I love it! They have guided meditations, immersive soundscapes like rainstorms or forest sounds, and even short ones like the five-minute Midday Reset (perfect for when you’re short on time). Plus, every session feels unique—it’s not just the same thing on repeat.

Here’s the best part: new users get a year of their pro version for free. Yes, free! Check it out on your app store and thank me later, insha’Allah.

That’s all for now, loves. Remember to stay present, count your blessings, and trust that Allah is Ar Raqeeb The Ever So Watchful Guardian.

مع السلامة أخوات. اعتنمن بأنفسكن.

  1. This is such a beautiful reminder sis. You are definitely right. Stressing out about a situation will not do anything but add more stress. We have to understand that it is the decree of Allah and learn to accept it. May Allah bless you and your blog. Ameen
