 Fall Reflections

It’s October 30th, 2025. It’s been officially fall for a month now. I haven’t written any blog posts in a while… I miss you all, and frankly, there’s been a lot on my mind. This season is by far one of my favorites, but I don’t think I’ve been doing myself justice. I haven’t taken my usual walks in nature or jumped and stomped on the leaves like I usually do. Thankfully, we still have some time, In shaa Allah.

I’ve gone through some serious changes recently. I moved, and with relocating comes— you guessed it— unpacking, redecorating, reacclimating, and pretty much the whole nine yards. It has been such a metamorphic experience. I’m slowly getting used to waking up in a new place and enjoying all this newfound peace here — it’s truly amazing.

I’ve also been very occupied with my book club, which has been going strong since the summer. We’ve already read three books, and we’re currently reading When You’re Ready, This Is How You Heal by Brianna Wiest. Today, we had our group discussion, and I’m always so amazed that, even with the miles and seas that separate me and my book club sisters, we still share so many similarities. Whether it’s navigating difficult relationships with family, juggling work and home life, or simply trying to create time and space for ourselves — our experiences always seem to connect.

I genuinely appreciate these moments. I almost always leave feeling emotionally full after hearing the encouragement, support, and beautiful testimonies shared by each sister. The act of searching one’s soul to find the words to describe and share with others is, in itself, an act of service I deeply value. Today, I gained something meaningful — a reminder that even in the face of my own adversity, and even when I feel a bit disconnected or lost for words, I can still find peace and inspiration in someone else’s model of how to heal.

Dua:
Ya Allah, grant us hearts that find peace in Your remembrance and strength through one another’s stories. Bless our sisterhood, our healing, and every step we take toward becoming who You’ve created us to be. آمِين
